Antonio Martinez Benitez, 63, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Hope Creek, in East Moline, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Antonio was born on June 8, 1962, in Manzanillo, Cuba, the son of Fernando Martinez and Caridad Benitez. He devoted more than 16 years of dedicated service to XPAC, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.

He enjoyed relaxing with a cold drink and, most importantly, cherished the time he spent with his family.

Antonio is survived by his children, Alain Marinez of Russia and Darine Martinez of Cuba; and siblings, Joaquin Martinez Benitez of Rock Island, Illinois, Caridad Martinez Benitez of Florida, Marielena Martinez Benitez of Cuba, and Fernando Martinez Benitez Jr. of Chile. He was preceded in death by his parents.
