Anthony C. Jackson, 76, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at his residence in Davenport, Iowa.

Born November 9, 1949, in Georgia, Anthony Charles Jackson was the son of William and Dorothy (Bae) Jackson. He proudly served his country as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army, completing two tours of duty in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

On May 20, 1995, Anthony married his beloved wife, Melanie Day, in Quincy, Illinois. Throughout his professional career, he held various positions with the federal government, including roles with the United States Department of Agriculture and the Food Safety and Inspection Service.

Anthony had a deep passion for tennis and a lifelong love of the game. Above all, he treasured his family. He deeply loved his wife and adored his children and grandchildren, who brought great joy to his life.

Anthony is survived by his devoted wife, Melanie Jackson; children, Brock, Brandy, Aaron, Alicia, Lucas, Tiffany, Kare, Ashley, and Margaret; grandchildren, Ena, Mia, Cylia, Darren, Aaron, Johnny, Riley, Sara, Ayla, Nora, Hudson, Leela, and Lila; his sister, Carla; and nieces, Shavette, Mia, Veletta, and Kiva.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 1:00 to1:45 pm at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm at Rock Island National Cemetery.
