Andrew D. Powers

Andrew D. Powers, 61, of East Moline, Illinois, died Friday, December 8, 2023, at Unity Point Trinity Hospital, Rock Island, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Andrew David Powers was born February 18, 1962, in Geneseo, Illinois, to Donald and Ruth (Bowermen) Powers. He worked as a cook for many years. He enjoyed fishing, listening to Kiss, football, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Kris (Adam) Anderson, and Amanda Powers; his grandchildren, Kenneth, George, Samantha, and Rosalee; his brothers, Donald (Lori) Powers, and Mitchel Powers; and his best friend that was like a brother, Johnny Baca. He is preceded by his parents; son, Andrew Kelsey; and sister, Melinda Carothers.
