Andrew J. Dailey, 35, of Moline, Illinois, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 21, 2022, as a result of complications from ankle surgery.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 27, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, immediately followed by burial at Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to family for a fund to be established in Andrew’s memory.
Andrew John Dailey was born January 12, 1987, in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from Moline High School in 2005, and went on to earn his associates degree from Scott Community College. He worked for Kone as a Computing Regional Server Specialist and was currently managing their server farm worldwide.
He enjoyed playing Dek Hockey, reading, playing Magic the Gathering and online gaming with friends, and growing plants. He loved music, collecting vinyl records and playing bass.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy (J. Dennis) Carr of Moline; his father, Kevin (Sojung) Dailey of Kaysville, Utah; the love of his life and “hunny”, Katie Carroll of Moline; Katie’s daughter, whom he loved dearly, Luna Carroll; his sister, Sarah Dailey of Jamesville, New York; his nephew and Godson, Gavin Dailey; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
