Anazaya Cecilia Gomez Raya Guerrero

Anazaya Cecilia Gomez Raya Guerrero was born into the arms of God on Monday, February 23, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis Silvis Medical Center.

A memorial mass will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline, Illinois. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the family.

Though her time on earth was brief, Anazaya was deeply loved from the very beginning. For 17 precious weeks, she grew safely beneath her mother’s heart, already cherished beyond measure. She brought hope, dreams, and immeasurable love to her family long before they could hold her in their arms.

Anazaya is the beloved daughter of Hector Guerrero and Myanita Gomez Raya. She is lovingly survived by her parents; her brother and sister, Anelio and Aracelia Gomez Raya; and many family members who were eagerly awaiting her arrival. Though they did not get the lifetime they had hoped for, they will forever carry her in their hearts.
