Albert Ray Barnd

Albert “Ray” Barnd, 87, of Milan, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Hope Creek Nursing, Rehab and Care, East Moline, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Ray was born December 11, 1938, in Merritt, Illinois, the son of Melvin and Edna (Willner) Barnd. He spent most of his career working for International Harvester, first in East Moline, before moving to Indiana and retiring from that location.

He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and love of estate sales.

Among survivors are his sister-in-law, Sheri Elliott; and good friends, Gary and Tammy Olsen.
