Adam Brinson, 32, of Frederick, Maryland, formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in his home.


Services are Friday, December 2nd at 11 a.m. in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, December 1st from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adam’s honor to the ABA Commission on Domestic Violence.


Adam James Brinson was born October 4, 1990, in Greenville, South Carolina, to Kenn and Karen (Binkley) Brinson. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Masters in Healthcare Administration, and served in the US Army from June 2009 until June 2014, with a deployment to Iraq in 2011. He married Chelsea VanHoutan on August 18, 2012, in Bettendorf. He was the owner of Hedge Hog LLC, and was passionate about trading stocks, cryptocurrency, and held a true entrepreneurial spirit. Adam previously worked as a paralegal in various capacities, and worked for the Veterans Administration and Social Security Administration.


Adam most enjoyed cooking homemade pizza and dance parties with his daughter. He was a gracious host who enjoyed serving decadent meals in his home. Other hobbies included traveling, golfing, music, and manicuring his lawn. Adam was a man on a mission. As an intellect, he truly enjoyed discussing politics, science, and was always dreaming of the next adventure. Adam’s loyal companion was his dog, Bentley Louis.


Adam is survived by his wife, Chelsea and their daughter, Reagan. He is also survived by his parents Kenn and Karen Brinson, sister Amber Moore, brother Aaron Brinson, maternal grandparents, Barb and Kenn Binkley, and paternal grandfather, Fred Brinson and his wife, Beverly.
