Marilyn Zvonik Holm, 79, of Indio, California, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, in Eisenhower Medical Center, Rancho Mirage, California.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, with The Reverend Jay Regennitter officiating. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline, or the American Cancer Society.
The former Marilyn Joan Zvonik was born April 24, 1928, in Moline, the daughter of John and Myrtle (Brakensiek) Zvonik. She was a finance revenue auditor at Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella, California, and was employed at the High Sierra Casino and Hotel in Lake Tahoe in the 1970?s and 1980s. She belonged to Riverside United Methodist Church and King?s Daughters, and enjoyed knitting, sewing and quilting.
Marilyn is survived by four children, Nancy Morris and her husband Allan, and Jeffrey Holm, all of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Courtney Holm and Susan Finch and her husband James, all of LaQuinta, California; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; and brothers, Dwight Zvonik and Roald Zvonik and his wife Rosemary, all of Moline.
