Matthew D. Leslie, 38, of LeClaire, Iowa, died Thursday, December 15, 2011, in Trinity Bettendorf, Bettendorf, Iowa.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, Illinois.
Matt was born November 17, 1973, in Silvis, Illinois, to Gordon and Beverly Wilson Leslie. He graduated from Orion High School, and had been a landscaper for J & B Landscaping in Coal Valley. He was a St. Louis Cardinal and NASCAR fan.
Matt is survived by sisters, Lisa Leemans of Milan, and Dana Hess and her husband David of Coal Valley; and nieces and nephews, Jason Leemans, Rachel Reid and her husband Jason, Sarah Leemans, David Hohl and his wife Lorraine, and Michael Hess, and his partner, Jennifer Dunlap of LeClaire.
