Wilma I. Fiagle

Moline, Illinois Services for Wilma I. Fiagle, 89, of Moline, are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Stephen Lovelady will officiate. Burial is in Downey Cemetery, Downey, Iowa. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Silvis, Illinois. Mrs. Fiagle died Saturday, February 8, 2003, in Aspenwood Health Care Center, Silvis. The former Wilma Irene Askam was born October 25, 1913, in West Liberty, Iowa, the daughter of Clark and Erma (Finley) Askam. She married Lawrence Fiagle on October 3, 1934, in Rock Island, Illinois. She had been employed by a housekeeping service for 11 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Silvis. Wilma is survived by her husband, Lawrence; a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Marilee Fiagle of Providence, Utah; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Larry Jones of East Moline; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, Walter and Leola Askam, Clark Askam, Leo and Joan Askam, and Betty and Howard Birkhofer, all of Muscatine, Iowa.
