William L. Ross, Jr.

William “Billy” Ross Jr., 51, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on February 20, 2020 at Aperion Care in Moline, IL after an extended illness.

A celebration of life will be held at Broken Spokes on Wednesday February 26, 2020 at 5pm 1402 W 4Th St Davenport IA. Please come as you are and share your stories and memories of our beloved Billy. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Donations can be made online to crohnscolitisfoundation.org

Billy was a unique and caring person; he touched the heart of everyone he met. Billy lived life to the absolute fullest and still enjoyed the little things like time with his family or cuddling with his dog. His biggest accomplishment in life was to be an unwavering supportive uncle to all his nieces and nephews and brother to all his family.

Billy will be truly missed by all. Those left to honor his memory include his siblings Sharon (Monte) Harper, David (Aimee) Patton, Leanne (Bill) Ross-Kinny, Mark (Wanda) Ross, Christine (Kris) Mahoney, Shawn Keyes, Nathan Wala, Jay Steines, Brandi Sumpter. His nieces and nephews Lea (Brian) Harper-Russell, Kayla & Dominik & Dayten Patton, William & Nate Harper, Ashten Songer, Brook Strohm and Josh Arndt. There are also a large number of great nieces, nephews and large extended family. Proceeded in death by his Mother Marie Patton, Father William Ross Sr., Sister Gina Ross, and Step-Father Robert McDoungh.
