William E. Nupp, Sr., 75, of Milan, Illinois, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory with graveside services at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hampton Township Cemetery, Hampton, Illinois. A Celebration of Bill's life will follow at Crabby's Bar & Grill, Coal Valley, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the family. Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley, is assisting the family.

William Edward Nupp was born May 23, 1939, in Eldon, Iowa, the son of Solomon and Rose (Corder) Nupp. He married Glenna Jean Clark in Coal Valley. She died April 20, 2004.

Bill was a machinist for Case IH, retiring around 1997. He was a member of UAW Local #1304. He enjoyed fishing, playing chess, cards, and pool, and spending time at the Milan American Legion.

He is survived by four children, Lori and Bill Rotz of East Moline, Jesse Nupp of East Moline, Lana and Dennis Long Jr. of Moline, and Judy Nupp of Moline; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary Nupp of Kinder, Louisana; and his "angel", Cathy Anderson of Milan, and her family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Nupp, a son, William Nupp, Jr., and a daughter, Sheri Nupp.
