Moline, Illinois Services for Willard (Bill) A. Peterson, 75, of Moline, are 11 a.m. Saturday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Dr. Robert W. Miller, First Congregational Church, Moline, will officiate. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, where Doric Lodge #319, AF & AM, will conduct Masonic funeral services at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to Quad City Symphony or Arrowhead Ranch. Mr. Peterson died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. Willard Arwin Peterson was born January 6, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Arvid and Winifred (Frederickson) Peterson. He received an MBA degree from the University of Iowa and a bachelors degree from the University of Illinois. Bill was currently President of Lawper Video Productions, Inc., Moline. He previously was an executive at Parr Instrument Company, Moline, for 32 years, retiring as Secretary-Treasurer in 1986. Bill served in the United States Army during and after World War II as a correspondent for Stars and Stripes. He was a member of United States Singletons (Quad City Area Chapter) and past National President of U. S. Singletons; a member of First Congregational Church (Moline); Doric Lodge #319, AF & AM; Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Moline; Medinah Shrine Temple, Chicago; Blackhawk Shrine Club; Thor Lodge #9 of Vikings; and Oakwood Country Club. He is survived by a brother and his wife, Reed and Beverly Peterson of La Crosse, Wisconsin; a niece and her husband, Nancy and Robert Bekx of Appleton, Wisconsin; three nephews and their wives, David and Julia Peterson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Thomas and Kathleen Peterson of Janesville, Wisconsin, and Gregory and Kathleen Peterson of Winona, Minnesota; nine great-nieces and great-nephews; three great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and good friend and business associate, Mick Elliott of Bettendorf, Iowa.
