Wieslawa Sztajer, 84, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, Illinois.

Private family services will be held. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, is assisting the family.

The former Wieslawa Bialek was born July 14, 1929, in Warsaw, Poland. She married Richard Sztajer on July 26, 1947, in Poland. The couple came to the United States in 1949.

Wieslawa is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard; her son and daughter-in-law, George and Jean Sztajer of Rapids City, Illinois; a granddaughter and her husband, Sivi and Carlos Polit; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Freda Szarometa of Chicago, Illinois.
