Vivian Stromberg

Moline, Illinois Services for Vivian Stromberg, 92, formerly of Moline, are 11 a.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Dr. Robert W. Miller will officiate. Interment is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Visitation is one hour before the services. Miss Stromberg died Thursday, November 27, 2003, in Bridgeview Center, Ormond Beach, Florida. She was born August 17, 1911, in Moline, the daughter of Carl J. and Anna (Winblad) Stromberg. She attended Augustana College, Rock Island. She was an operator for the former Illinois Belle Telephone Company for 36 years, retiring in 1973, and also worked at Teske's in Moline. She was a life member of Telephone Pioneers and a member of AARP. She loved her family and enjoyed mystery novels and music. Vivian is survived by a niece and six nephews and their families, Anne Oliva of Ormond Beach, Florida, Kevin Ross of Leawood, Kansas, John Ross of Lakewood, Colorado, Patrick Ross of Moline, Gary Stromberg and Steve Stromberg, both of San Diego and Vince Stromberg of Wichita, Kansas, a brother, Vernon Stromberg of San Diego, California, and a sister-in-law, Irene Stromberg of San Diego. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Evelyn Ross, and brothers, Vincent, Lee, and Richard Stromberg.
