Timothy W. Haskins, 52, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, November 17, 2019, at home, surrounded by his family.
A hospitality gathering to celebrate Tim's life, with Harris Pizza and cocktails, will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019, at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with a toast and time of sharing for family and friends beginning at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the family for a fund to be established.
Timothy Wayne Haskins was born July 17, 1967, in Moline, the son of Donald and Jean (Behrens) Haskins. He married the love of his life, Jana Knudsen, on June 17, 2000, in Negril, Jamaica.
He worked at Lifestyles Furniture as for over 20 years, retiring as operations manager on August 1, 2019, due to health. Previously, he had worked at Thomas Outdoor Lighting, Phil Vinar Furniture, Black Hawk College, Eagles, and Pella Windows.
Tim was a die-hard Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Illinois Fighting Illini, and fantasy football fan. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, hosting get-togethers for family and friends, and was a huge music buff.
He is survived by his wife, Jana; his parents, Don and Jean Haskins; his son, Addison Knudsen of Moline; siblings, Thomas (Margaret Mary) Haskins of Coal Valley, Illinois, Ellen (Michael) Phelps of Rock Island, Illinois, and Sue (Bryan) Radtke of Milan, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Evan Morrison.
