Timothy B. Pinter, Sr., 55, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at UnityPoint - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.

Services will be private. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.

Timothy Bruce Pinter was born July 25, 1958, in Davenport, the son of Marion James Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth (Purn) Pinter. He served in both the Iowa and Oregon National Guard.

Tim worked at the Jewell Group in Davenport. Although separated by many miles, he loved his sons and their families very much.

He is survived by two sons, Timothy Pinter, Jr. and his wife Kayla of Salem, Oregon, and Anthony "Tony" Pinter of Portland, Oregon; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marion Jr. "Jim" and Margaret Louise Pinter of Princeton, Iowa, Clarence "Terry" Pinter of Davenport, Stephen "Steve" and Joyce Pinter of DeWitt, Iowa, George and Betty Pinter of Muscatine, Iowa, and John and Mary Pinter of Atlanta, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
