Thomas Johnson

Moline, Illinois Thomas Johnson, 95, formerly of Moline, died Saturday, September 29, 2001, in Neely Hospice, Gilbert, Arizona. Services were held in Mesa, Arizona. Private burial will be in National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal. Mr. Johnson was born January 26, 1906, in Wabash, Indiana, the son of William and Emma (Frantz) Johnson. He married Ruth Ann Hobson on November 21, 1936, in Chicago. She died June 18, 1982. He was a tool maker at the Rock Island Arsenal for 31 years, retiring in 1962. While living in Moline, he was a member of First Christian Church, Doric Lodge #319, AF and AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Moline, and Moline Chapter #258, Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include a son, William Johnson of Bristol, Connecticut, and two grandchildren. END OF OBITUARY
