Thomas C. Meredith, 37, of Fargo, North Dakota, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, November 26, 2022 at home.
Thomas Christopher Meredith was born February 6, 1985, in Moline, the son of Christopher and Barbara (Shrader) Meredith. He graduated from Moline High School in 2003. Thomas earned an Associate’s Degree from Tarrant County College, Ft. Worth, Texas and went on to complete the John Deere Tech Training Program at Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas. Thomas worked as a John Deere Farm Machinery Mechanic, and most recently, was a John Deere Parts Specialist at RDO Equipment in Fargo, North Dakota.
Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved to barbeque and prepare his favorite dishes for everyone to enjoy. He was interested in sports of all kinds, especially playing darts, soccer, and watching his children play hockey. He was an avid sports fan, rooting always for the Chicago White Sox, Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks. Growing up and into adulthood, Thomas enjoyed everything car-related including repairing his own and his friends’ vehicles and using his creative talent to customize them. Thomas was a movie enthusiast and had an extensive collection of DVDs which he enjoyed sharing and watching with his family and friends.
Survivors include his son, Carson Meredith; his parents, Barbara Meredith of Moline and Christopher Meredith of Fort Worth, Texas; and his sister, Sarah Hayes McMahon of Lombard, Illinois.
Thomas’ father, Christopher, will be having services for Thomas at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Point, Moline, with visitation one hour prior. Thomas’ mother, Barbara, and sister, Sarah, will be having a service at a later date in Moline.
