Steven Von Motz

Steven J. von Motz, 69, of Colona, Illinois, died Tuesday, April 21, 2020, in his home.

Private services will be held and burial will be Thursday, April 23, 2020, in Rock Island National Cemetery, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline.

Steven Joe von Motz was born September 27, 1950, in Rock Island, Illinois, to Clarence Harold and Ida (Bethel) von Motz. He served in the U. S. Navy, and was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his siblings and spouses, Rev. Reggie and Betty Jo Larson of San Antonio, Texas, Sharon and William Deadmond of Moline, Vicki and John Rickett of Vandalia, Illinois, and Katie E. Byerly of O’fallon, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandra.
