Moline, Illinois Shirley Wilder, 74, of Moline, died Friday, March 21, 2003, in her home. Services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hope United Church of Christ, Moline, with The Reverend A. Parker Lewis III officiating. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the church. The former Shirley Nelson was born August 23, 1928, in Moline, the daughter of Oscar and Clara (Bartels) Nelson. She married Milton Oskar Wilder on November 6, 1959, in Moline. He died May 22, 1994. She was an active member of Hope United Church of Christ, where she was involved in the visitation program, and a member of Illinois Home Extension, Moline Senior Citizens, and the 46'ers, her high school graduation group which still meets monthly. She was very family oriented, and enjoyed flowers, plants, and cooking. Shirley is survived by six children and their spouses, Barbara and Gary Fredell of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, Robert and Caroline Kilts of Arlington, Texas, Sherry and Ed VanWychen of Moline, Cindy and Chuck Sanders of Moline, Nellie and Duane Goderis Sr. of Aledo, and Babette and Jim Anderson of McFarland, Wisconsin; a former daughter-in-law and her husband, Karen and Dr. Tony Dietrich of Coal Valley; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and sisters and a brother-in-law, Lorene Lyons and Dorothy and Bud Workman, all of Moline.
