Ruth Bollinger Walker

Moline, Illinois Ruth B. Walker, 80, of Moline, died Friday, April 13, 2001, in Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island. Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is one hour before the services. The former Ruth Bollinger was born March 31, 1921, in Edgeley, North Dakota, the daughter of Ludwig and Maria (Biederstedt) Bollinger. She married Edward D. Walker on November 16, 1944, in Flint, Michigan; he died August 9, 1993. She was a Registered Nurse at the former Moline Public and Lutheran Hospital for 25 years, and then worked at Berryreid Collectors Studio in Moline for eight years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Ruth is survived by a son, Paul D. Walker of Scottsdale, Arizona, a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Laurel Walker of Moline, a daughter-in-law, Jan Walker of LaPorte City, Iowa, four grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers. She was preceded in death by a son, Milo D. Walker. END OF OBITUARY
