Rosemary E. "Teeny" Overton

Rosemary E. “Teeny” Overton, 78, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport, surrounded by her loving family.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport, at a later date. Memorials may be made to {charity/family/etc.}.

Rosemary Elizabeth Overton was born October 30, 1943, in Moline, the daughter of Robert Sr. and Gladys E. (Pate) Overton. She married Harlee Miller, Sr., and he passed away in 2003. She later married Gary Millbrook. She worked as a nursing assistant for ManorCare in Davenport for many years.

Teeny was a member of Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ, Davenport. She enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, and eating out. Above all else, family was the most important thing to her, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Miller of Moline, Harlee (Latrice) Miller, Jr. of Milan, Lorenzo Millbrook of Rock Island, Sonya Millbrook of Missouri, Rhonda Johnson of Davenport, Joi (Recoe Summage) Millbrook of Davenport, and Gaarett (Larry) Pettway of Davenport; grandchildren, Nastashia, Harlee, Loryn, Liyah, Cierra, Brandon, Aaron, Chivon, Brooklyn, Breonne, Ronald, Dajaun, Delvin, Adrian, and Dezi; sister, Arline (Obie) Hodges; brothers, Robert (Debbie) Overton, and Michael Overton; her good friend, Marilyn Jackson; her “bonus daughter”, Shebra Johnson; and a host of great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Sharon Malone, Marlene Carter, and Pauline Overton.
