Rock Island, Illinois Rose M. Claude, 62, of Rock Island, died Wednesday, August 27, 2003, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan, preceded by family prayers at 9:15 a.m. at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Anthony Ego will officiate at the mass. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, where the Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the St. Ambrose Church Building Fund. The former Rose Marie Bussman was born November 27, 1940, in Rockwell, Iowa, the daughter of Frederick and Marie (Freund) Bussman. She married Gaylord L. Claude on August 19, 1961, in Eagle Center, Iowa. She was a homemaker, and served as domestic engineer for several Quad City families. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan, and enjoyed dancing and caring for others, and loved being with her children and grandchildren. Rose is survived by her husband, Gaylord; five children and their spouses, Luella and Brett Bingham and Loretta (Lory) and Charles Van Blair of Moline, Linda Patton of Lexington, Kentucky, and Leann and Bryan DePover and Loren and Roxanna Claude of Rock Island; nine grandchildren; her step-father, Edward Meier of Milan; and siblings and their spouses, Catherine and Wayne Schacherer of Laurens, Iowa, and Edward and Mary Bussman of Moscow Mills, Missouri.
