Ronald E. Deacon

Ronald E. Deacon, 63, of East Moline, Illinois, a proud veteran of the U. S. Navy, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, in his home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, and private graveside services with military honors and burial will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery. Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, is serving the family.

Ronald Edward Deacon was born March 29, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Edward Joseph and Betty Jeanne (de Maro) Deacon. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and worked in construction. He married Bobbi Ann Crawford on August 16, 1991, in Rock Island. He was a stay-at-home dad, who was very imvolved with his children. He loved to cook and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Ron is survived by his wife, Bobbi; two sons, Clancy and Joseph Deacon, both of East Moline; two grandchildren, Kagen and Zoey Deacon; and his mother-in-law, Geri Olson of Silvis..
