Robert W. Ingwerse

Robert W. Ingwerse, 82, of Silvis, Illinois, died Saturday, June 10, 2017, in his home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, and Robert and his late wife, Mary Ann, will be entombed together in the Columbarium at Rock Island National Cemetery. Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017, at the cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, Illinois, at 12:45 p.m. Monday.

Robert William Ingwerse was born June 19, 1934, in Moline, to Christian and Irene Rohweder Ingwerse. He served in the US Air Force. He married Rose Marie Bunch in 1956, in Tazewell, Illinois, and they were later divorced. He married Mary Ann Hahn Beaver in 1988, in Davenport, Iowa. She died in 2002. He was an assembler at John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed bowling and computer games.

Bob is survived by a daughter, Linda Levan of Carbon Cliff, Illinois; step-children and spouses, Julie and Mike Harris of East Moline, Scott Beaver of Silvis, Kevin Beaver of Davenport, and Tammy and John Verratti of New York; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and special friends, Carolyn Weimer, Roy Ditto, and Russell Nolan, all of Silvis. He was preceded in death by his wife and two sisters, Shirley Kespohl and Dorothy Nicholson.
