Robert W. Troutner, 61, of Davenport, Iowa, went home to be with his Savior on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
A celebration of Bob?s life will be held at a later date. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
Robert Wayne Troutner was born February 11, 1951, in Kankakee, Illinois, and was adopted by Earl and Georgia Burgess Troutner. He married Sheri Hirsch Johnson on July 31, 1999, in Davenport.
Bob was an avid fan of the Bears, Cubs, and Hawkeyes. He loved fishing, his many pets, traveling, and spending time with his family. He had a kind and loving spirit and always had one of his jokes to share. Spending time with Bob always made your heart smile. He was a man with a big heart and is loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Sheri; children, Sarahjayne Snow, Doug Johnson, Monica Mallette Ritter, and Michelle Mallette; a sister, Carol Woodward; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
