Robert Lee "King George" Kennedy

October 16, 1956 — December 18, 2020

Robert Lee “King George” Kennedy, 64, of Rock Island, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 18, 2020, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Private family services will take place prior to cremation at Trimble Crematory, Moline.

Robert Lee Kennedy was born October 16, 1956, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Tommy Lee and Mary Ellan (Horton) Kennedy.

He was a entrepreneur, but mostly a stay at home grandfather to his ten grandchildren. He enjoyed spending quality time with his daughters, Christina and Angelina, as well as all of his family. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, Travis, Dakovion, Tanasia, Jeremiah, Nehemiah, Justice, Armonti, Darreon, My’Kyel, and Dahveon. He loved movie time, going out to eat, cooking, walks along the riverfront with his significant other, and tearing the highway up!

King George is survived by two daughters, Christina Kennedy and Angelina Kennedy, both of Rock Island, and their 10 children (his grandchildren); his twin sons, Jason and Joseph Holman; four sisters, Martha Kennedy, Ophelia Kennedy, Maryann Horton, and Idella Kennedy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
