Robert Edwin Sullivan

Robert E. Sullivan, 87, of Moline, died Friday, February 03, 2006, at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Monday with visitation one hour prior to the service in the celebration of life chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to one?s favorite charity.
Robert Edwin Sullivan was born November 22, 1918 in Farmington, Iowa the son of Walter O. and Chloie (Heath) Sullivan. He married the former Virginia Peterson, December 13, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa, she died in 1970. He married Mildred Preston on November 20, 1971 in Moline. Bob was a bus driver for the cities of Rock Island and Moline for over 37 years, retiring in 1983. During retirement Bob enjoyed spending his time golfing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred of Moline, a daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Tony Bisinger of Rock Island, four grandsons, John Henderson, and Jeremy Henderson, both of Davenport, and Jeffrey Bisinger and Joseph Bisinger, both of Moline, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Blanche, a brother, Lee, a daughter, Joyce, and a great-granddaughter.
