Robert A. Mitchell

Robert A. Mitchell, 69, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013, in his home.

Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Private interment will be held at a later date at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or River Bend Foodbank.

Robert Arthur Mitchell was born October 15, 1943, in Davenport, the son of Arthur and Elvera Anderson Mitchell. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in computer science, and has been employed as an IT analyst for Deere and Company for 46 years.

He was a member of Blackhawk Hiking Club, volunteered at the River Bend Foodbank, and enjoyed computers.

Bob is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Michael Judd of LeClaire, Iowa; nephews, Adam Judd and his wife Melissa of Bettendorf, and their children Aidan and Addison, and Nathan Judd of East Moline.
