Reva Grace Winters

Reva G. Winters, 90 of Moline, died Thursday, January 31, 2002 in Illini Hospital, Silvis. Services for Mrs. Winters will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Moline, with the Reverend Steven R. Woods officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Committal will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church or to VNHA 500 42nd Street Suite 8 Rock Island, IL 61201. The Former Reva Grace Yeager was born September 9, 1911 near Enid, Oklahoma the daughter of Norris and Fannie (Noel) Yeager. She married Adrian L. Winters on August 10, 1934 in Moline; he preceded her in death on June 28, 1987. Reva had previously been employed at Woolworth's Department Store in Moline. She had been an active member of First Baptist Church serving as a Sunday school teacher for 49 years, the kitchen band for 24 years and had served in the church circle. She had also been a member of the King's Daughters, and Eastern Star for over 50 years, and had been involved with PTA for over 25 years. She deeply loved her family, enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, and was truly grateful to everyone who helped her. Mrs. Winters survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Vincent Watson of Rancho Cordova, CA, and Margaret and Robert Mills of Orion, IL; sons and daughters-in-law, Adrian and Sharon Winters of Moline, John and Lorri Winters, of Pensacola, FL., and Robert Winters of St. Paul, MN; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter. A sister, Velva Quilty, brothers, Noel and Maurice Yeager, and a grandson preceded her in death, Douglas Winters.
