Reithel M. Doerr

Moline, Illinois Reithel M. Doerr, 94, of Eureka, Illinois, formerly of Moline, died Wednesday, December 4, 2002, in Apostolic Christian Home, Eureka. Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Dan Cole, First Baptist Church, Moline, will officiate. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is Noon to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Fund. The former Reithel Morley was born December 3, 1908, in Table Grove, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd and Byrd (Plum) Morley. She married Robert H. Doerr on June 6, 1930, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. He died August 31, 1980. She was a maid at the El Rancho Motel in Davenport, Iowa, for 20 years, retiring in 1993. She previously worked in the cafeteria at John Deere Junior High School. Reithel is survived by five children and their spouses, Marlene and Loren Beaumont of Rock Island, Jerrold and Barbara Doerr of Green Valley, Arizona, Richard and Sharon Doerr of Peoria Heights, Illinois, Charles and Susan Doerr of Independence, Missouri, and Michael and Carolyn Doerr of Las Vegas, Nevada; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister, LaMott Johnson, and a brother, Keith Morley.
