Priscilla J. Zimmer

Moline, Illinois Priscilla J. Zimmer, of Moline, died Saturday, March 29, 2003, in Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. The Reverends Gary LaCroix and Christian Meyer will officiate. Burial is in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, Illinois. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the church. The former Priscilla Jane Bryan was born in Springfield, the daughter of Harvey and Johnie (Jones) Bryan. She married L. B. Barron on August 5, 1945, in Springfield. He died September 6, 1957. She married Henry Zimmer on January 6, 1961, in Springfield. He died August 6, 1979. She was a secretary at Blackhawk College and Trinity Lutheran Church. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Altar Guild and volunteered in the office for many years, and was a member of Katherine Butterworth Circle of King's Daughters and Chapter IS of P.E.O. Sisterhood. Priscilla is survived by a daughter, Jane Zimmer, and two granddaughters, Victoria Swain and Elizabeth Swain, all of Moline; two step-sons, Dr. Albert Zimmer of Moline, and Peter Zimmer of British Colombia; and a step-daughter, Kay Strate of Fountain Valley, California.
