Pearl M. Strosahl

Moline, Illinois Pearl M. Strosahl, 96, of Moline, died Friday, May 2, 2003, in her daughter's home in Milan, Illinois. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Paul Zittlow will officiate. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Moline, or Genesis VNA Hospice. Pearl Madeline Strosahl was born August 27, 1906, in Grundy Center, Iowa, the daughter of John and Louisa (Moeller) Strosahl. In earlier years, she worked at Tots and Teens and Pederson's Deli, both in Moline, and Illinois Bell Telephone Co. She was a founding member and the oldest living member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Moline, and a member of Aid Association for Lutherans and the former Moline Lutheran Hospital Auxiliary. Pearl is survived by her daughter, Janice Berry of Milan; four grandchildren and their spouses, Lori and Robert Saemisch, Keith and Julie Fare, David and Melissa Fare, and John and Pamela Fare; eight great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
