Pauline Marks

Polly Marks, 93, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Private burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Estates, Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Island County Animal Control.

Ruth Pauline Marks was born May 15, 1921, in Moline, the daughter of William and Anna (Hanson) Marks. She was an executive secretary for the Iowa Illinois Gas and Electric Company for 24 years, retiring in 1985.

Polly was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, the Moline Public Hospital Auxiliary, and the Clara Lodge of the Independent Order of Vikings.

Polly is survived by several cousins, and many friends, including Sheila and Art Benzon of East Moline, and Irene Nielson of Bettendorf, Iowa, and their families.
