Aledo, Illinois Neva Fern Lemon, age 84, of Aledo, Illinois died Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at Mercer County Hospital, Aledo, Illinois. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 2, 2001 at Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo, Illinois. The Reverend Claude Moreland will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, June 1, 2001, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo, Illinois. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Sugar Grove Cemetery. The former Neva Fern Crook was born on May 29, 1917 in Keithsburg, Illinois to James and Della (Hightower) Crook. She married Wayne C. Lemon on April 8, 1935, in Aledo , Illinois. He preceded her in death February 20,1985. Mrs. Lemon was a devoted homemaker, raising her children and helping her husband on the family farm in Perryton Township. Mrs. Lemon is survived by 3 daughters; Linda Hobart and Kathy Jackson of Aledo; Waynetta and Richard Anderson of Geneseo; and 2 sons; Larry and JoAnn Lemon of Milan, and Neil D. Lemon of Aledo. There are sixteen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. A twin sister, three brothers, and a great-grandson preceded her in death. End of Obituary
