Dr. Monte L. Skaufle, 61, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015.

A celebration of Monte's life will be 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at 2753 Marigil Lane, Bettendorf, with a special memorial at dusk. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his wife, Jill Cirivello, for a fund to be established for his grandchildren. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is serving the family.

He Truly lived.

He accepted things the way they were.

So he died happy.
