Mildred L. Sullivan

Mildred L. Sullivan, 87, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Generations at Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.

Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Private burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Black Hawk Area Special Education District Playground Fund.

The former Mildred Lois McCollum was born July 18, 1930, in Mendon, Missouri, the daughter of James and Annabelle (Craig) McCollum. She married Robert E. Sullivan on November 20, 1971, in Moline. He died February 3, 2006.

Mildred worked at Lagomarcino's in Moline for almost 20 years, retiring in 1983. Previously, she worked for Fresh Pak Candies, Desaulniers and Johnson Bakery.

She enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, antiquing and going to yard sales.

Mildred is survived by a daughter, Anna; four grandsons; and many nieces and nephews, including Al and Penny McCollum of Silvis. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Seales; four brothers, Howard, Virgil, Jack, and James McCollum; a sister, Hildred Garr; and a great-granddaughter.
