Michael Alexander

Michael Alexander, 67, of Rock Island, Illinois, formerly of Brick, New Jersey, died Thursday, June 25, 2015, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory with services at a later date in New Jersey. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is serving the family.

Mike was born July 26, 1947, in Neptune, New Jersey, the son of Victor and Pat (Patterson) Alexander. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Antoinette Kulpecz on November 4, 1966, in Howell, New Jersey.

He owned a deli in Brick, New Jersey for 12 years, and worked various management jobs at convenience stores. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards and memorabilia.

Mike is survived by his wife, Antoinette of Brick; two sons, Michael Scott (Karen) Alexander of Audubon, New Jersey, and Richard Alexander of Howell, New Jersey; grandchildren, Cassidy, Joanna, Bethany, Freddy, and Jack; a brother, Vernon (Flo) Alexander of Aurora, Illinois; a sister, JoAnne (John) Blake of Homewood, Illinois; a brother-in-law, Alexander (Lori) Kulpecz of Waretown, New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
