Mary Stephens

Moline, Illinois Mary Stephens, 95, formerly of Moline, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001, in St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island. Visitation is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. The former Mary Strobbe was born June 25, 1905, in Mishawaka, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Ermima (DeBell) Strobbe. She was a waitress at The Office restaurant in Rock Island, retiring in 1969. She previously was a waitress at Mirando's Supper Club, Milan, and Harold's on the Rock, Moline. She enjoyed crocheting and working with flowers. Mary is survived by a sister, Margaret Phipps of Rock Island, a brother, Camiel Strobbe of Moline, and several nieces and nephews. END OF OBITUARY
