Mary Lum

Moline, Illinois Mary E. Lum. 86, of Moline, died Monday, April 28, 2003, in Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley. Graveside services are 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to Mississippi Valley Chapter of Alzheimer's Association. The former Mary Elizabeth Burghard was born July 1, 1916, in Parsons, Kansas, the daughter of William Ahemus and Luella (Nunn) Burghard. She married Albert Lum on September 11, 1936, in Crown Point, Indiana. He died June 23, 1993. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, East Moline. Mary is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Lum of Hermosa Beach, California, Linda Cantwell of Mountain View, California, and Holly Bell of Moline; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, William J.
