Mary Loretta Turner, 73, of East Moline, Illinois, entered eternal life on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, surrounded by her family.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Sunday at River's Edge Fellowship, 204 East Spring Street, Colona, where she was a member. The family will receive visitors at a luncheon following the service. Cremation has taken place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Interment will be a later date. Memorials may be made to the church.

Mary was born May 7, 1942, in Seneca, South Carolina, to Elijah Lee and Nancy Lorene (Moore) Kuykendall. She married John Calvin Turner on December 11, 1957, in South Carolina. He survives her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Wanda Kay (Mike) Wheeler, Taylor Ridge, Linda (Mark) Hudson, Milan, Cheryl Turner, Rock Island, Cindy (Adam) Walker, Manchester Tennessee, John (Sarah) Turner, Moline. Grandchildren; Josh Bouldin (Stephanie), Jennifer Bouldin (Josh Lane), Justin Duffield (Yolanda), Stephanie Duffield (Mike Lioen), Brian Turner, Tony Turner (Melissa), James Morrison (Jessica), Andrea Smith, Mary Teague (Jeff), Alicia Price (Jason Johnstone), Jessica Fisher (Joe), Jenny Arnold (J-Rod), Faith Walker, BayleeMay Walker, Haleigh Hoyt (Ricky), and Joel Turner. Great Grandchildren; Desirae, Destiny, Caleb, Kegan, Anthony, Kalai, Kevin, Isabella, Camille, Ella, Ada, Hudson, Sullivan, James, Jax, Joey, Kyleighya, Ambreighya, Teighshyah, Zeighler, Jake, Jace, Jaxson, Lorelai, Brantley, Nora, Alena, and Ryker. Sister Lizzie Beth Dalton, Central South Carolina, and brother Henry Kuykendall, Six Mile, South Carolina.

Mary was proceeded in death by her parents, a brother, Lewis Moore, and a daughter, Shelvy Jean Bouldin.
