Moline, Illinois Services for Marguerite June Hanson, 95, formerly of Moline, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to National Ataxia Foundation, 2600 Fernbrook Lane, Suite 119, Minneapolis, MN 55447-4752. Mrs. Hanson died Tuesday, September 7, 2004, in Dimondale Center, Dimondale, Michigan. The former Marguerite June Grant was born June 2, 1909, in Woodhull, Illinois, the daughter of Swan August and Susie Olson Grant. She received her teaching certificate from what is now Western Illinois University. She married Arthur Hanson in 1933 in Galesburg. He died in 1965. She married Robert Standard in 1981 in Moline. He died in 1985. She was employed as a secretary at the former Rock Island County Tuberculosis Sanitarium and Clinic for 12 years. After retirement, she was bookkeeper for the Rock Island County Employees Credit Union. In earlier years, she was a teacher in a one-room school and a seamstress. She was a former member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline, First Covenant Church, Moline, and Moline Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, Jumbles, Jeopardy, and the Chicago Cubs. Marguerite is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Arthur (Art) and Natalie Hanson of Lansing, Michigan; three grandchildren, Amy Naslund Hanson, Kathryn (Katie) Naslund Hanson, and Erik Grant Hanson, all of Lansing.
