Luella M. Sarazin

Luella M. Sarazin, 64, of Geneseo, Illinois, died Monday, September 26, 2016, at OSF in Peoria, Illinois.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory. In the spirit of her giving nature her organs will be donated to Gift of Hope.

Luella was born March 5, 1952, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Emma Rice. After graduating from high school, Lou worked as a secretary. She loved animals especially her ferrets and dog Sara. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crafts, shopping, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandson.

She is survived by two sons. Patrick (Carrie) Schmidt of Geneseo, and Jeremy Schmidt of Moline; siblings, David Wells, Henry Wells, and Doris Nebinger; four grandchildren;
and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father , Emma (Rice) and George Woods and a brother. Harold.
