Louise M. Hancock, 93, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Her body will be donated to the University of Iowa for medical research and there will be no public services. Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley, is assisting the family.

She was born October 22, 1922, in Taylor Ridge, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Elfreda (Kurtz) Miller. She married and widowed three times, to William Bewley, Walter Collier, and Eugene Hancock. She worked as a program analyst for the Rock Island Arsenal for 11 years.

Louise was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley, where she served as a deacon. She was involved in the Moline Senior Activity Center and the Moline American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, and was an avid NASCAR and Chicago Cubs' fan.

She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Anthony of Milan, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Bewley, three brothers, and two sisters.
