Reynolds, Illinois Funeral Services for Louis A. Whitehall, 85 of Reynolds will be Thursday, April 5, 2001, at 10:30 AM at the Hamlet Perryton Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Hamlet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Louis died on Sunday, April 1, 2001 at the Mercer County Hospital, Aledo. Louis was born on March 19, 1916 in Abington Township, Mercer County, Illinois to Elmer H. and Sadie May (Mellinger) Whitehall. He was previously married to Gladys Hood and Elizabeth Cahill. Louis was employed as supervisor in several machine shops in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also owned and operated Whitehall Research and Development in Milwaukee form 1966-1971. After moving back to Mercer County, he farmed in Richland Grove Township from 1971-1979. Louis was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy. Louis is survived by 10 children and their spouses; Martha and Wayne King of Aledo, Verlea and Ralph Brewer of New Boston, Dora Mae and Kenneth Osborn of Bettendorf, Ellen Whitehall and Susan Jesen both of Milwaukee, WI, Donald and Colleen Whitehall of Aledo, James and Jane Whitehall of Nichols, IA, John Whitehall of Milwaukee, WI; Michael Whitehall of Sacramento, CA and Christopher and Debbie Whitehall of Oak Creek, WI. He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Lucille Grabbie of Kewanee, IL and a brother, Richard Whitehall of Milwaukee, WI. Louis was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Denzil Whitehall; a sister, Helen Whitehall; a granddaughter, Della Whitehall and his two former wives. End of Obituary
