Lorraine L. Nicholson

Lorraine L. Nicholson, 92, of Moline, Illinois, died Monday, June 22, 2015, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory with private burial to follow at Rock Island National Cemetery. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.

The former Lorraine Lois Johnson was born December 3, 1922, in Moline, the daughter of Carl and Maude (Callaway) Johnson. She married Jack Nicholson in Chicago. He died December 15, 2000.

She is survived by three children, James Nicholson of Moline, Cheryl Colbert of San Miguel, California, and David Nicholson of East Moline; grandchildren, Christian Colbert, Lisa Colbert, and Julie Humphreys; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three husbands, a sister, Corrine Johnson, and a brother, Bob Johnson.
