Lorita M. Davis

Lorita M. Davis, 75, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Saturday, July 29, 2017, at St. Anthony's Nursing & Rehab Center, Rock Island.

There will be no public services. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

The former Lorita May Taylor was born October 28, 1941, in West Frankfort, Illinois, the daughter of Yuel and Lillian (Young) Taylor. She married Billy Ray Davis on September 10, 1981, in Zephyrhills, Florida. She had previously been married to Robert Cottrill, which whom she remained friends until his passing in 2011.

Lorita is survived by four children, Veronica Alden, Joel Davis, Mary Davis, and Selena Davis; three grandchildren, Heather Angeles-Montiel, Crystal Madsen, and Jason Garnica; and eight great-grandchildren.
