Lois L. Catlett Johnson, 88, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, May 8, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, Illinois.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley, with The Reverend Tim Snart officiating. Burial is in Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.

The former Lois Lucile Warnock was born June 3, 1926, in Orion, Illinois, the daughter of Harper McDill and Ruth (McWhinney) Warnock. She graduated from Orion High School in 1944 and married Russell Catlett in 1946. She later married Earl Johnson on September 2, 1984, in Nashua, Iowa. He died in 1992.

Lois worked at the Henry Service Elevator in Orion for two years. She later worked as a preparation cook at The Factory restaurant in Orion for 13 years, until 1984. Her interests were her family, friends, music, dancing, camping, and fishing. Her enjoyment was letter writing, sending greeting cards, as well as planning and putting on social activities.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley, where she participated in morning circle.

She is survived by her children, Carol Catlett of DeKalb, Illinois, Roger and Skeeter Catlett of Andover, Illinois, Ronald and InCha Catlett of Sherrard, Illinois, Alan and Cheryl Catlett of Janesville, Wisconsin, Glenn Catlett of Grapevine, Texas, Alice and Jesus Davila of East Moline, Sara and Rev. Steven Anderson of Sherrard, Christine and Thomas Benson of Rock Island, Illinois, and Lee and Debra Catlett of Windsor, Colorado; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Grace Catlett of Moline. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Johnson, a son, Larry Catlett, and her first husband, Russell Catlett.
