Moline, Illinois Services for Linda M. Ingelson, 53, of Moline, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. The Reverends Gary LaCroix and Christian Meyer will officiate. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the church. Linda died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at her sister's home in Moline with her father and sister at her side. Her death was due to brain cancer which had been discovered in April. Linda Marie Ingelson was born September 4, 1950, in Moline, the daughter of Leslie Alvin and Verna Evelyn (Johnson) Ingelson. She graduated from Moline High School and Augustana College, and received her Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Illinois. She had been a speech therapist for the Racine, Wisconsin, Rock Island-Milan, and Rockridge school districts, for the Head Start Program, and for Americana and Oak Glen nursing homes. She was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, where she had been a Sunday school teacher. She loved the beauty of nature and wildlife. She was a Christian who read her Bible and devotions everyday. Her faith in God and Jesus sustained her during her recent illness. Linda is survived by her father, Leslie, and her sister, Jeannine Ingelson, both of Moline, and an uncle, two aunts, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Verna, in 1987.
